Melissa Janette Kopple, M.S., L.Ac. Dipl. NCCAOM

Melissa J. Kopple M.S., L.Ac. is the President and Owner of Optimal Health Acupuncture. She received her B.F.A. from NYU in 1990 and her master's degree in acupuncture from Tri-State College of Acupuncture in 1999. She practiced Japanese Acupuncture under the tutelage of Master Japanese Acupuncturist Kiiko Matsumoto.
 
Melissa is board-certified with NCCAOM, and affiliated with Weill Cornell Reproductive Medicine Center NYC, New York Fertility Center, Advanced Sports Medicine and D'Vida Pain Clinic, Oregon. Her experience in multi-disciplinary settings allows her to bridge the gap between Eastern and Western medicine. She has built her reputation by treating patients that are getting inadequate results with traditional western modalities.
 
After years of owning a thriving practice in NYC, Melissa fell in love with the Pacific Northwest and relocated to Oregon. In her spare time, she can be found hiking or supporting her daughter Josie (an 8-time All-American junior high school athlete and 2022-23 state champion in the 400m representing LOHS) at track meets.
